Frequently asked questions
Should I raise prices on high fee marketplaces or lower them on cheap ones?
The tool only tells you what equal net requires. Whether buyers on the higher fee platform will pay the higher price is a demand question, and many sellers accept a lower net there in exchange for volume. Use the parity price as a reference point, not a rule.
What about sales tax and buyer paid shipping?
Most marketplaces collect sales tax from the buyer and remit it themselves, so it does not change your net. Buyer paid shipping only matters if a marketplace charges its fee on the shipping amount too; if so, add an estimate of that to the percentage.
Can I use this for more than three marketplaces?
Yes. Keep your main marketplace fixed and swap the other two slots for each additional platform. The main net payout stays the same, so every result is comparable.
